This Week in WWE 24-30 June

Wrestlingbytinks towers has been subjected to illness this week (Yeuch!) so it's been a tad quiet; that said, here's the roundup of this weeks highlights.

A Universe Remembers

Sad news surfaced at the end of the week; Matt Osbourne who is fondly remembered as Doink The Clown has passed away. WrestlingbyTinks sends heartfelt condolences to Mr Osbourne's family friends and fans.

Bryan and Orton ~ Heroes of Raw

Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton take topspot on Raw yet again; after their initial match ended in a double DQ brawl at the opening of the show Bryan used some subtle persuasion to convince Vickie Guerrero to agree to a rematch later in the evening. The fans could choose the match through the app (you've heard about the app right?) and the Universe called for a street fight, and by gawd did we get one! Thrilling stuff - looking forward to seeing where these pair go next.

Dolph auditions for 3MB

JUST KIDDING! Dolph crashed Del Rio's Fiesta on Smackdown (it gave me Deja Vu) and certainly made me laugh with this picture! No help again from Big E or AJ although no formal reference has been to their separation yet.

Keep Your Friends Close......

.....and Paul Heyman closer. After suffering at the hands of Lesnar last week CM Punk & Paul Heyman confronted their elephant in the room. Heyman swore he had nothing to do with Brock's attack and Punk takes him at his word. Later on in the night Heyman send Axel to save Punk from a Primetime Players beatdown. Can CM Punk trust Paul Heyman and with a tag team match pairing Axel and Punk against PTP on Monday, just why can't Heyman stop interfering in Punk's business?

Is that.........HUH??

Kaitlyn's meltdown continued this week when on Raw she became distracted by her former friend who imitated her and  re enacted the humiliation Kaitlyn suffered at her hands. But AJ would not be the only one raiding the dressing up box for our amusement. On Smackdown it would be AJ finding herself on the distracting end of a skipping AJ  Kaitlyn. With both divas trying to get into each others heads the rematch at Money in the Bank will be nothing short of a mind melt.

Money in the Bank ~ All Stars

The WWE Championship Money in the Bank match was announced by Stephanie McMahon and is a stellar line up to say the least; yet again featuring former champions Rob Van Dam is granted a slot for his return to WWE.

....and future stars

While the WWE Championship match features former champions, the World Heavyweight Championship match features (with the exclusion of Swagger of course) stars yet to achieve the higher honors within the company. It is exciting to see these young men being given the chance to shine in a pay per view main event style match.

Bothe MITB matches have great possibilities for storylines going forward. I'll have a post featuring my predictions for the PPV that week so be sure to look out for that.
